Book finished

I've finally finished my book Soulless Voodoo Guy. This is the written book as opposed to the graphic novel, but this is the same story as what the graphic novel will be. After 9 years on and off re-writing it countless times I've at last come to a point where I'm happy with it. I'm not sure how many hours it's taken, but I'm certain it's well over a thousand.

I've ironed out the story and streamlined it. Every sentence of the book has been scrutinised. Originally I wrote the story as a basis for my graphic novel, but that was taking too long and I felt that the story I had was too good to have sitting around until I eventually finish the graphic novel, so I decided to re-write it into a proper book in its own right. The graphic novel will get done eventually.

I truly believe that the story I have is original and I don't think there's anything else out there like it. There were a lot of aims I set myself with regards to the book and I won't say what they are here because that would spoil it, but I think I've achieved them. One thing I will say is that I've tried to make it timeless and I've stayed away from including anything which will date it. I also think that it doesn't fit into any particular genre or category.
